my mind vase ceramic stained with blotches of blue and patches of orange. pristine porcelain, light bounces off at right angles, sharp enough to blind. it sits in a glass case reinforced by stainless steel brackets on all sides in an empty white room with tall ceilings that seem like they climb forever, an endless tunnel of greying cream above.
visitors come every now and then, carrying various things. a tote a chisel a hammer and a drill.
fractured but not lost glue together the pieces. look at the cracks between the fragments. peer into the pockets of starlight & remember the color
