Not a big house with a green yard or soft leather womb chairs. Not a fancy phone or internet fame. I don’t want money to rain from the sky. Don’t care if I have the latest designer coat (despite how good it would look on me). Don’t need life to be full of plush and sweet. Bitter is sweet when you gorge on sweets your whole life. Just let me feel my body, let my belly stay soft, let my hands stay warm, give me a pair of eyes to stare into and a neck to nuzzle against, let my mind go on wandering walks and my nose meander as she pleases. Give me the space for a single breath, to stay with the breath through the airport doors and crazy security line, to stay to the point that it’s embarrassing. Let my love be embarrassing.
