future ideas
- add live cursors but its eyes or sunglasses and people can stamp or the longer they hover over a spot it leaves a mark? like covered by shade?
- use form to leave persistent traces?
- would be cool to take screenshots of the site over time, just to see how it evolves.
- add history, # of photos
- what is a very visual affordance of how dense it is? or how long it’s been?
- add weather
v much like https://futureland.tv/
- cool design inspo around today vs. not today

new project 🪟
windows into slices of my life, auto-updated with latest photos from my phone and the weather where it was taken. Currently, there are four windows that each show what I love and pay attention to through different focuses and stories.

I wanted to experiment with an easy, automatic workflow for showcasing personal data meaningfully and creating dynamic websites. This feels important as an exercise in personal data agency and carving out personal space on an often impersonal internet.
I love knowing that there’s a digital space and body reflective of my active real life experiences. And because its ephemeral (being constantly updated), it feels safe to share and fun to see that the current combo of photos on the site has a natural deadline.
It also shows the weather where it was last updated from via emoji

Learn more about the motivation / workflow on the site & if you want to get this set up doing something similar and want help feel free to DM me!
thanks for checking it out :)
