- “Should education address the nuances of every topic, however, no courses would be finished, so perhaps it is a much simpler method to convey information.”

- “In politics and public policy, “nuance” is where truth goes to die.”

- No one can build a better society, life, or future through games of nuance. Because the things that make our worlds better are not nuanced things. Rights, endowments, great institutions, public goods, universal building blocks of society — these are simple in the simplest ways. They’re for all people. They are always there. They do not ever go away.
- generalizations in the aggregate, nuance in the specifics nuance allows people to see multiple perspectives but nuance also gives up effectiveness and power which could be needed to cause real change
- so maybe we need to promote nuance internally when listening to others but push with little nuance when promoting a viewpoint to get it across
- OR we make it such that being nuanced is not ineffective but is that even possible?
