- how do we make a more intimate experience
- not like twitter where people can misrepresent you and very detached and inhumane
- each reader has to do context building when reading a new doc. One big artifact, not clear what is fresh, relevant, etc. What if you had physical wear indicating usage by others like hiking trails in the memex
- ex now: medium highlights showing what most people have highlighted
- could also go other extreme of heavyweight where one person has a very important comment and you dont want to resolve
- both lightweight action like highlight and heavier where you can make commentary or annotation
